Alexis Couture — Designed for Real Life

I started Alexis Couture in my dining room. That's not a cute origin story I made up for interviews. It's literally what happened. My kids were asleep, my sketches were spread across the table next to a half-eaten bowl of pasta, and I thought, "I'm actually going to do this." Six months later, the first twelve pieces were hanging in my garage, wrapped in tissue paper, waiting for their first buyers.

Why I Started a Fashion Line

Here's the thing nobody tells you about being on reality television: people expect you to look perfect all the time. Red carpet ready at the grocery store. Full glam for school pickup. And after three seasons on RHOC, I realized that most clothing brands weren't designed for women who live actual lives. They were designed for women who stand still and look pretty in photographs.

I wanted something different. I wanted dresses that looked incredible in photos AND felt comfortable during a three-hour dinner with friends who won't stop talking. I wanted tops that worked for a business meeting at 10am and a date night at 8pm without having to go home and change. I wanted pieces that made women feel powerful without sacrificing comfort.

That's Alexis Couture. Every single piece in the collection exists because I personally needed it at some point in my life and couldn't find it anywhere.

The Design Philosophy

I'm not going to pretend I went to fashion school. I didn't. What I have is twenty years of wearing clothes on camera, attending over 200 events, doing countless fittings, and paying very close attention to what works and what doesn't.

Every Alexis Couture piece follows three rules. First, it has to look good on at least five different body types. Not one. Five. I test every design on women ranging from size 2 to size 16 before I approve it. Second, the fabric has to pass what I call the "four-hour test." If it wrinkles, sags, or loses its shape after four hours of wear, it's out. Third, you have to be able to sit down in it without doing that weird adjusting thing. You know exactly what I'm talking about.

The Spring 2026 Collection

This season's collection is probably my most personal yet. I drew inspiration from the California coastline. Those early morning colors you see from the bluffs in Crystal Cove, right before the fog burns off. Dusty pinks, ocean blues, warm sand tones, and that perfect gold you only get during sunset on PCH heading south toward Dana Point.

The collection includes fourteen pieces. Seven dresses, four tops, and three sets of coordinated separates. Prices range from $89 for our signature wrap top to $340 for the Crystal Cove evening dress, which I'm personally obsessed with. I wore the sample to a dinner last month and three women asked me where I got it before I'd even sat down.

Standout Pieces

The Newport Wrap Dress ($185) is our most versatile piece. Adjustable tie waist, flattering V-neckline, hits just below the knee on most women. It comes in four colors and it's the dress I grab when I have fifteen minutes to get ready and need to look like I spent an hour. Machine washable, which sounds boring but is actually life-changing when you have three kids.

The Balboa Midi Skirt ($145) is new this season. High-waisted, flows beautifully when you walk, and has hidden pockets deep enough to actually hold your phone. Real pockets, not those decorative ones that fit approximately half a credit card. I'm very passionate about functional pockets.

The Crystal Cove Evening Dress ($340) is the showstopper. Bias-cut silk blend, low back, hand-finished hem. I spent four months getting this one right. The first three prototypes were beautiful but impractical. Version four is the one. It moves like water and photographs like a dream.

Sizing & Fit

We offer sizes XS through 2XL across the entire collection. No exceptions. I've sat in too many design meetings where someone suggested cutting the larger sizes to "reduce production costs." My answer is always the same: we make every size or we don't make the piece. Period.

Our size guide is based on real measurements from real women, not industry standard vanity sizing. A medium in Alexis Couture fits like a true medium. I know that sounds revolutionary but apparently it is. Multiple customers have told me it's the first brand where they don't have to order three sizes just to find the right one.

What Customers Are Saying

I'm not going to curate a list of perfect five-star reviews here. Instead, I'll tell you what I hear most often in my DMs. Women say things like, "I finally feel like myself in a dress." And, "My husband noticed without me having to ask." And my personal favorite, "I wore it to my sister's wedding and she was mad because I looked too good." That last one made my entire week.

Where to Shop

The Spring 2026 collection is available through this site and at select Orange County boutiques. For the latest pieces and pre-orders, follow me on Instagram where I share new arrivals first, usually with a try-on video filmed in my closet with terrible lighting because keeping it real is kind of my whole thing.
